United Nations General Assembly

This annual event is one that I look forward to every year. It is the coming together of the world’s most distinguished leaders, philanthropist and change agents. This year saw the launch of EDV(Eliminate Domestic Violence) spearheaded by Baroness Patricia Scotland from London. My friend First Lady of Kwara State Nigeria Toyin Saraki, Founder and Chairperson of the Well being Foundation addressed the room and challenged us all to use our voices for global change. The breakfast which gathered pioneering women from a myriad of sectors from across the globe was designed to ignite a collaborative task force that would birth ideation that would address the ongoing social ill’s that continue to plague our world. I was asked to help with the development of the New York initiatives and I am excited to be partnered with such pioneering, distinguished women.
